Valeting

Unlike basic washes, a valet involves specialised, safe-wash techniques, including pre-wash decontamination, a two-bucket hand wash using lambswool washmits, micro-fibre drying towels to prevent swirl marks. The interior receives equally deep attention, encompassing thorough vacuuming, steam cleaning, upholstery shampooing, and cleaning of plastic and vinyl surfaces to eliminate dirt, stains, and odors from every crease and corner. Detailing

Convertible roof maintenance
Maintaining a convertible roof is essential for preventing leaks and preserving the vehicle's aesthetic value, particularly for fabric soft tops which require specialised care. This care involves regular cleaning with pH-neutral, non-detergent solutions to remove dirt, mold, and mildew without damaging the material or seams. After cleaning, apply a dedicated fabric or vinyl protector to restore waterproofing and provide crucial UV resistance, which prevents fading, drying, and cracking over time. Additionally, both soft- and hard-top convertibles rely on complex mechanisms; therefore, ensuring that all drain channels are kept clear of debris and lubricating hinges and moving joints according to the manufacturer's guidance will guarantee smooth operation and prevent costly repairs.
Project Mini Cooper S Works
When a customer asked me what can you do about my wifes Mini CSW I gave both my customer and his wife three options, option one remove the damaged vynal along with the glue residue which gets left behind, option two was remove vynal and glue residue followed by hand polished paint work, option three was remove vynal and glue residue followed by a gloss enhancement detail. my customer and his wife decided that option three was going to be best and I can not disagree with them as the following pictures prove how good it turned out.
Recent work
Work carried out recently includes a Gloss Enhancement detail carried out on Mazda RX8, Matte paint cleansing detail on an Abarth 124 Spider, Intermediate valet on Ferrari 488 Spider and finally a soft top detail on an 18 plate Mini convertible
About me
So far you have had chance to read about my valeting and detailing business and gathered that I love cars, especially ones with glossy paint work. I thought it important that my customers and potential customers know a bit more about me, I was born in 1971 and as a child I used to help my dad work on his old Volvo 240DL when it needed fixing, which is where my love of all things automotive comes from. As time went by, I started to wash his car then make sure the interior was nice and clean. This attention to detail served me well as when I turned 21 I purchased one of my favorite cars - a Volvo 480ES, which was washed and polished every weekend that the weather permitted. After that I worked in different jobs but was never happy with them, until one morning I woke up and realised I should take my passion for cars and start a valeting and detailing business. The rest as they say is history!
